Photography is more than just a career for Rob, it’s a passion. He’s always had a creative streak, studying for a design degree in Nottingham before a career in the city followed in Telecoms. But that life through a lens has been a big pull and Rob has always had a camera in his hands, looking to capture the big picture as well as intimate moments.
Rob has spent the last couple of years traveling throughout East Africa, honing his technique with a series of stunning wildlife photographs taken in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. He’s also worked for some good causes in that part of the world including the charities Right to Play, Touraid, and COCO, set up by former Olympian, Steve Cram.
Rob’s ability to quickly strike up a relationship with the people he is photographing lets him capture relaxed and informal shots as well as the structured formal portraits when required.
As an ex rugby player, Rob is never too far away from the world of sport and has branched out into the corporate sector with major clients such as Red Bull, Chelsea FC, Atos Origin-LOCOG and Northumbrian Water, as well as many other key clients. He has turned his hand to golf days, conferences and business launches and does so with a smile on his face and the ability to capture the moment perfectly.
